So, April is all said and done……tomorrow we begin May! WOW! Another year is flying by us!
Here is the next (and last) batch of April Daily Photos. I missed today’s photo – it was “spider web” and I didn’t see one….it was a really busy day, so – to be fair – I didn’t get out to search for one. I know I have a really cool photo of a web in the misty morning on the canal bridge in my archives, I could have used, but I’ll be darned if I could find it! Oh well……here are the ones i DID get:

We had a little bit of excitement this week…….a new baby joined our family – my niece had her first child – a girl……..we had a nasty return of winter in the form of a ton of wet, heavy snow that destroyed my beautiful Bradford Pear Tree – I’m heart broken…….and I got to go see an in-person live show at our local Cabaret!
First – let me share with you the demise of my beloved tree:
Taken the day before the snow hit……it was in full bloom and stunning at dawn on Tuesday!
Then, this is what I woke up to on Wednesday morning – April 21st!
And, later in the day, I came home to find half of it broken off and laying on the ground!!!
A total loss……destroyed…….my heart is broken!!!
But……I will replace it……thinking maybe replacing it with an Ivory Silk Lilac Tree……maybe…..still thinking!
And, now…..on with this batch of Daily Photos:
MONEY
NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY
GRAFFITI

I didn’t miss the one for “Kiss”…..it is of my niece kissing my brand new great niece and I won’t put that on this public site!

Hello April! So happy to see you!
Here are the first group of my April Daily Photos:

……this photo I took a few years ago in Mt Albion Cemetery!
Yeah, it’s an awesome photo, but the REAL reason I’m proud of it is cause:
I actually got myself out of bed, dressed, and out early enough to capture the sun through the fog before it lifted!
Hahaha
So — that’s it……Alphabet Month is done! I have to admit I struggled a bit with the alphabet, this time! So, I’m happy to see a normal list of odd photo prompts for April……and here is April’s list:
Can’t wait to see what I come up with……..Catch ya later!

Of course, it is still only March and there will be that usual March roller coaster of weather, so hang on to your hats! So long, for now……I’ll be back!!!
Well, March sure did roar in like a LION!!! On March 1st, the wind was so wicked and it was super cold and it snowed off and on (no accumulation, but it sure looked blustery out there)! Here’s hoping that was enough to satisfy the first part of the “If March comes in like a Lion, it’ll go out like a Lamb” old wive’s tale. We’re forecast to see some high 50s and even a couple 60s this coming week! But, I’m not that naive – I know March in Western NY is like a roller coaster ride of weather events — cold, warm, rain, snow, sun, clouds, nice, nasty……but, April is coming and Spring is right around the corner!!!
So, let’s get on with the Daily Photos for the first most wonderful week of March…..reminder – March is Alphabet Month and I’ll follow the regular Daily Photos with the Lenten topics:
A is for ANGELS
B is for BRICK BUILDING ON BANK STREET
C is for COURTHOUSE AT SUNSET

E is for EGGS
F is for FIREHOUSE
G is for GARLIC
And, now for the next set of Lenten Daily Photos:

MEDITATION
There you have it, folks……
Here we are at the end of February. March begins, tomorrow, and brings with it the promise of Spring and reawakening of Nature and all it has to offer. I got my first dose of the Moderna Covid 19 vaccine, this past Friday and have an appointment for dose # 2 the end of March. All that snow that dumped on us the last couple of weeks is shrinking away and some hints of grass and life are beginning to peek through. Life is good, indeed……and I got me a bad case of Spring-Fever…..and, no – I don’t want the vaccine for that – I’ll take it on with joy!!! 🙂
And, now, on with the final photos for February and the next set of photos for the Lenten Challenge:
A LOVE STORY
SOMETHING BLUE
HANDWRITTEN NOTE
A WEDDING PHOTO
LIFE IS……
WHAT I’M READING
And, now……the next set of the Lenten Photo Challenge:
DAILY WALK
SERVICE
A FAMILY PHOTO
SIMPLE INGREDIENTS
RESTLESSNESS
GOSPEL
Yep – this photo did double duty, today!
Here is the Daily Photo Challenge List for March – it is ALPHABET month!!! And, of course, I will continue on with the Lenten Photo Challenge List, as well.
See ya in March!!! 🙂
