2016 Albion Strawberry Festival

And, another Strawberry Festival is in the Albion, NY history books! It was a great two day event……the sun was out……the rain held off……the crowds came……and there was lots of fun and excitement for all ages!

Here are some highlights of the festival and the parade (except – no food photos – for food photos, you’ll have to click here cause they got a post all their own):

Fun and games for all ages…..a personal favorite of mine is I Got It! I played $5 worth of games – won one game and gave the token to the little girl who was sitting next to me (I like to play, love to win, but don’t really want the prizes)!

This booth provided information about the Charles W. Howard (Santa Claus) statue planned for downtown! Fundraising for this project is in process!

So……there were several things I didn’t get photos of…..so much to do spread out all over down town – hard to see it all and do it all!!! But, I gave it a good shot! Until next year…….have a great summer!

  1. Some great shots Kim ! Looks like fun was had by all ! Great shots in front of my old Alma Mater (St. Joe’s, circa 1955).Thanks for sharing. I try to get out to this festival once in awhile but just couldn’t make it out this year ! Hopefully next year !
