Taste of Spring in February

I had to keep checking the calendar this weekend to remind myself that it was, indeed, still February – in fact, early February!  Both Saturday and Sunday brought us temperatures in the mid-70s!  The gentle breeze, bright sun, and beautiful blue sky all added to the wonderful weather!

Saturday, I went to the movies, got my hair cut, met some friends for dinner, and bummed around the house enjoying the day.  Sunday was a little more lazy – I had brunch at Cafe 121, took a nap, and took a drive!

Motorcycles were out all over the place — singles and pairs here and there — large groups cruising through town!  I was so tempted to put the top down and drink in the wonderful breeze, but since I wasn’t feeling well earlier in the week, I thought it might not be such a good idea…..

On my drive, I stopped at the Old Gilliam Mill Park and covered bridge and took some pictures – it was a lovely day!
