Reminder — there will be a St. Baldrick’s Event at Local Joe’s on Steele Street in downtown Sanford this Saturday.
Click here to see the list of all who have volunteered to shave their heads for Children’s Cancer Research!!! They really have a long, impressive list of folks who have raised a total of over
$12,000 –
SO FAR! – they still have a couple days to raise some more
$$$$$! If you have not already done so, please consider supporting one or more of these brave souls with a pledge toward their goals.

Fellow Sanford Blogger and Sanford Herald Writer – Gordon Anderson is well on his way to his goal of $500!!

Team Wyeth – two of my co-workers have formed “Team Wyeth” – Hope Buchanan and Melanie Underwood – together they have raised close to $5000!!! (yep – that’s not a typo – I did mean to write five thousand dollars!!!)
Maybe you’ll find someone else you know on the list — check it out and help in any way you can — every $1.00 counts!!!!
The fun at Local Joe’s starts this Saturday (July 12th) at 3:00 with kid head shavings from 3:00 – 6:00 and the adult head shavings from 6:00 – 11:00! Come out and cheer on the wonderful shavees……..they are doing a great thing for a great cause and deserve our support!!!
