Ice Cream and Good Ole Country Music
Stopped in for some ice cream at Circle R Fruit Farms on Rt 18 Saturday evening and discovered they had live music……a local country duo called Ron and Nancy One Song and they were WONDERFUL! I got there not long after they started and I hung around till they were done! They paid homage to all the greats – Hank Williams, Hank Snow, Hank Thompson, Roy Clark, Kitty Wells, Tammy Wynette, Willie Nelson, and so many more……and a few slightly more contemporary, like Elvis and John Denver! I really enjoyed my impromptu evening out near the lake! And there was a really nice size crowd that joined me!
They’ll be back in two weeks……just might have to go have another ice cream and listen some more!!!

Hahaha — actually, the ice cream was piled up that high under it, so not as much whipped cream as it looks! 🙂
I think we had them for a Sunday evening music night when Jack was preaching at West Barre. Wilma
