Just a few thoughts I feel worthy of jotting down!
It’s Farm Market Hop time, again! Every year, some of our local farm markets participate in a Farm Hop – this is this year’s! It was a drizzly day, but that didn’t stop me from doing the hop!!!
And…..if you’re local and reading this thinking you missed it!!! No worries…..it’s still going on tomorrow – this year’s dates are August 3rd and 4th! So, take a nice Sunday drive and do the Hop!!!
This is the order I did it…..you can start anywhere and go in any direction – just be sure to get your bag tag stamped at ALL SIX locations to be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing!
I paid my $10 at the first stop and got my Market Hop bag. The tag gets stamped and you put a FREE gift in your bag at each participating market on the route! At the last stop, you write your name and phone # on the tag and turn it in for the Grand Prize Drawing!
First Stop: Roberts Farm Market – 11170 Maple Ridge Rd, Medina, NY
The free gift at Roberts was a choice of herbs plants – I chose the Basil plant

Second Stop: Navarra’s Farm and Greenhouse – 3272 Eagle Harbor-Waterport Rd., Albion, NY
The free gift at Navarra’s was a sunflower plant

Third Stop: Circle R Farm Market – 13490 Roosevelt Hwy, Waterport, NY
The free gift at Circle R was a choice of 4 ears of corn OR 4 green peppers OR mix ‘n match – I chose 3 ears of corn and 1 green pepper

Fourth Stop: Partyka’s Farm Market – 1420 County Line Rd, Kendall, NY
The free gift at Partyka’s was a bag of their dry roasted pumpkin seeds

Fifth Stop: Brightly’s Farm Market & Bakery – 526 Drake Rd, Hamlin NY
The free gift at Brightly’s was a sweetheart cabbage

Sixth and Final Stop: Kirby’s Farm Market – 9739 Ridge Rd. West, Brockport, NY
The free gift at Kirby’s was a bunch of beets
I turned in my fully stamped tag….wish me luck on the Grand Prize Drawing!!!
Here are all my free gifts…..some of this will be contributing to my dinner – I have some chicken thighs I plan to do in the air-fryer and I’m thinking I’ll probably roast that sweetheart cabbage and maybe an ear of corn to go with them!
It was a lovely day!
