Fresh Air….???

It was a beautiful night last night, so I slept with my bedroom window open to let the wonderful fresh air blow in and freshen the room! It was so nice….until…..

About 2:00 am or so, I was jolted awake by an aroma so offensive, I wanted to do nothing more than hold my breath! Apparently, a visitor was wandering our neighborhood – likely very close beneath my wide open second story bedroom window!

Yep – Pepe LePew was spreading his perfume and it was filtering full force into my window and, therefore, into my nostrils! I pulled my blanket up over my head, hoping the scent would dissipate quickly. But, as expected, I had to get up to take care of some business and the scent followed me!

I really didn’t want to shut the window and turn the AC on, so I waited a bit longer to see if he would take his offensive cloud with him to some other location. Soon, it did start to not smell as strong and it wasn’t too long before I didn’t smell it anymore.

Once the atmosphere in the room was finally replaced with that nice fresh air again, I was able to go back to sleep and enjoy the rest of my night of peaceful dreams.

To Pepe: I always loved watching your cartoons as a child….you and your “live” friends are really quite cute…..BUT…..I implore you to PLEASE stay away from wherever I happen to be and please do not interrupt my sleep with your colorful aroma, again!
