Stranger under a tree, that’s a cowgirl in Dorothy’s blue dress right?
That photo was taken at the 2017 Oz-travaganza in Chittenango, NY – an annual festival celebrating L Frank Baum. One of the authors that was in town during the festival for a book signing and the parade writes comic books based on a wild west Oz – this girl was there to portray his “Wild West Dorothy”!
I just love that photo, and anything about Wizard of Oz
Empty Road…wonderful composition… reminds me of going to the beach years ago when my Gramma lived close to the ocean and there were no hotels or anything in the way.
That photo is at Montauk at the far end of Long Island by the Montauk lighthouse. Taken Thanksgiving 2018.
