July Daily Photos – Part Two

And, on with Part Two of my July Daily Photos……just a reminder, July daily topics are based on the theme of getting to know me better, so each photo will have the topic and, if necessary, a bit of extra info to explain it.

This Song Makes Me Happy….

When I was a teenager, we had a toy fox terrier named Daisy Mae and I used to sing her this song every day!

“Daisy, Daisy give me your answer, do. I’m half crazy over the love of you. It won’t be a stylish marriage, I can’t afford a carriage. But, you’ll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two!”

I Grew Up In….

this house……

and, on Saturday, we watched it disappear after the fire that resulted in a total loss about a month and a half ago!

My brother took it over and has been living in it since our mother passed a little over three years ago.

And, now, it is as if it never existed!

(And, I couldn’t believe the irony of Saturday’s photo topic, given what we had to do)
