2016 Daily Photos – June 1-5

Kicking off June’s Daily Photos with an obvious choice – mostly flowers that are blooming in my garden – taken June 1-5.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1:

“The Lady”

Mom made this two-foot tall lady at a time in the early ’80s when we were making a lot of ceramics together. It now adorns my hearth and conjures up wonderful memories of many, many nights sitting at the laundry room counter painting together and laughing and talking and laughing…..into the wee hours of the morning! This was her most favorite piece – I love it, too!

FRIDAY, JUNE 3:

“Clematis”

BONUS: close up view of one of two gorgeous deep purple clematis I have in my gardens

SATURDAY, JUNE 4:

“Purple Explosion”

SUNDAY, JUNE 5:

“My Peonies”

BONUS: A branch with the first of my knockout roses to bloom reaches out into the peony bush beside it
