Cold Barges
What a difference a few weeks makes…….on November 17th, I posted photos of the tugs and barges docked along the canal – parked for the winter as the canal was closing for the season and waiting to be drained – click here for that post. Since then, the canal has been drained and winter has set in. Yesterday, I took the following photos from the Main Street bridge……the tugs and barges sure look cold with a dusting of snow and the low water level frozen around them……and odd sitting so low in the canal! But, that’s winter on the canal!
