I used to enjoy playing a computer game called “Snood” — it is a simple game — you just shoot animated shapes up to rows of assorted animated shapes to make matches of 3 or more to bust up the rows before they shift to the bottom of the screen and all turn into skulls and the game is over! Nothing terribly exciting, but it is sorta challenging and VERY addicting!!!! I liked it cause I could come home from a hard day at work and stop using my brain too much while I unwound playing a little Snood!!!
Well, when I bought a new computer a few years ago, I didn’t go back to the Snood web site and download it again and got away from playing it………over the past few days, I have renewed my interest in it — I wanted to just play a few games to see if I still had the knack for it and if I could still do the perfect bank shot to send the pieces right into the most optimal spot to drop and clear a whole section……..
Then, suddenly, like a former smoker, it only took the first one or two games to get me hooked again!!!! Now I am totally addicted and at the mercy of those little snood characters – they smirk at me and stick their tongues out at me and I do my best to get my revenge by shooting them down!!! ha-ha-ha
I’m not saying that an intervention is necessarily warranted – YET! But, PLEASE – I beg of you – if I get to the point where I don’t post or leave comments for other bloggers for days at a time, you just might want to find a way to distract me from this overpowering addiction!!! Help me keep it from taking over my life!!! I don’t want to give Irene an opportunity to win a Pulitzer for her front page article for the Herald with the headline reading “Sanford Woman’s Sad Struggle with Snood Addiction”.
Now – that’s a long enough break – back to Snood!!!
