Some cool bloggers out there….

BLOGSPOT has a listing of “Blogs of Note” on it’s dashboard. It is blogs that they highlight and the list is updated throughout the month. I like to click on some of them to see what people around the world blog about — some are pretty cool……

Today, I noticed two that I thought some of my regular readers might find interesting:

http://www.foodmayhem.com/ – this is a blog from New York City all about food! They post pictures, recipes, and other info about food! I didn’t dig in too far, yet, but just what was on their current page was pretty interesting! Some strange stuff – can’t say that I thought some of the sushi images and explanations sounded very appetizing (they talk about “beautiful mini squid” that looked more like a slug to me and the second pic shows the “barbecue like sauce” inside that made it look like it was bleeding! YUCK!). But – it was interesting……….I put it in my favorites and will visit again!

http://peoplereading.blogspot.com/ – this one is from San Francisco! The blogger goes around interviewing people she sees reading books and asks them what they are reading, why they are reading it, what they think of it, and what other books they like to read. I thought it was cool to read some of the interviews. It is an interesting concept for a blog, for sure!

Check out the links and enjoy!!

ALSO – if you click on my “view my complete profile” link and then click on the word “Sanford” in my information, you will be linked to a listing of people with “Sanford” in their profile information that have blogs on BLOGSPOT! There are about 62 listed now and it keeps growing – it is how I found Lisa and Scotty Harland (listed in my blogroll). There is even an empty blog link for Billy Liggett on the list (guess it was one he started before he decided to use WordPress…..) and an older blog that Brooke Wolfe used to post some amazing photos on. You might find someone you know on the list!
